Week 7 Betting Notes and Trends

  • The numbers tell us Tom Brady will bounce back and lead the Bucs in great fashion past the Panthers. The Bucs have won and covered the last four meetings vs. Carolina since 2020 with no win by fewer than 14 points with a combined score of 150-63.
  • The Ravens have won and covered the last five series meetings between the Browns. The Ravens are 5-1 ATS in their last six games following an ATS loss and are 7-2 ATS in their last nine home games against a team with a losing record.
  • The Giants are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 road games against a team with a losing home record. The Jaguars are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games vs. the Giants and here comes Doug Pederson who has had his familiarity with the Giants during his tenure as Eagles’ Head Coach.
  • Even though, the Steelers are 7-2 SU in their last nine games vs. the Dolphins, they are just 2-5-1 ATS in its last 8 games following a SU win. The Steelers surprised the double-digit favorites in the Bucs last week. The Dolphins are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games at home.
  • The numbers also tell us the Packers and Aaron Rodgers will bounce back with a win in the nation’s capitol. They are 8-3 SU against Washington in its 11 meetings and following a double-digit loss at home, they are 4-1 ATS in its last five games.
  •  Dallas has gone 7-1 ATS in its last eight games following a SU loss and are 6-1 ATS in its last seven games following an ATS defeat. Despite the Lions being 10-4 ATS in its last 14 games overall, the Lions are 0-6 in its last six games on the road. They visit the Cowboys who return Dak Prescott at starting QB. Let us use this time to bid farewell to Cooper Rush as the starter for Dallas. He went 4-2 and we must remind ourselves that Greg Waddell, our friend, went to high school with Cooper Rush.
