B1G Battle, QB1 Fight, The Final Boss

ML Prediction

This game has everything that a CFB semifinal can provide. Oregon was an incredible opponent against IU this year. Indiana had one of the best road wins of the entire season as beating Oregon 30-20 in Autzen Stadium proved to be the best resume builder for the College Football Playoffs. No matter what happens today… the B1G will be in the national championship for the third time in a row without SEC representation.

Moore was sacked 6 times compared ti 8 times total in the other 13 games in the game against Indiana including being the provider of a Pick 6 that changed the momentum of the game. Indiana’s fundamental defense and strong front four was a problem for the Ducks.

Oregon’s explosiveness speaks for itself and they have plenty of playmakers that can score at any time at any point in the field.

Indiana has been the most balanced and best team in college football this year. Is there a secret sauce? No. Is this a surprise to them? No chance. They have been great on the ground; great in the air. They also have the Heisman Trophy winner who apparently only likes YouTube and LinkedIN. President Mendoza 2044? The trump card may be Indiana’s third-down efficiency. Their 56% conversion rate is exceptional on any level.

Oregon at Indiana-3.5. The Pick: Indiana 27 Oregon 21

Tariq Prediction

Can Oregon do what no other team has done this season? Can the Ducks right their one wrong from their regular season? Will Indiana steamroll their way to a National Championship appearance?

The Ducks have quite the task in front of them. The Hoosiers are third in points scored and second in points allowed, how do you combat that? Granted, Oregon is also top 10 in both of those categories so this is still about as even a matchup as you can get.

Dante Moore needs to play the game of his life. There’s a lot of conversation about where quarterbacks are ranked, where they could be potentially drafted, this is the kind of moment that can stick in NFL GM’s heads for years. It’s easier said than done, but we will know if Moore is ready for the moment, at least right now, by Saturday morning.

Fernando Mendoza is trying to cap off a perfect season, and this game would get him one step closer. He’ll be forever revered in Bloomington if he gets them to a Natty.

Both defenses are stacked, both head coaches are extremely prepared. Who wants it more? Who won’t make mistakes? Who capitalizes when given opportunity?

Oregon at Indiana-3.5. The Pick: Indiana 24 Oregon 23
