Week 6 Betting Notes and Trends
- For the first time in his career, Patrick Mahomes is an underdog at home. Mahomes is 7-0 against the spread as an underdog and the Chiefs are +3 against the Bills in the most anticipated AFC matchup of the year.
- The under has hit for 10 consecutive Bengals and Colts games entering Week 6. The Colts play an intra-division foe in Jacksonville who shut the Colts out in Week 2. The Bengals are on the road against the Saints in a homecoming of sorts for Joe Burrow in New Orleans.
- Despite the line being on the high side for a Mike Tomlin led Steelers team, the numbers favor the Bucs here. The Bucs are 16-3 SU in their last 19 road games. The Steelers are 0-7 ATS in their last 7 non-conference games. Thomas Edward Patrick Brady goes against rookie QB, Kenny Pickett.
- For only the 8th and 9th time in NFL history, a team will return from Europe without a bye week as the Packers and Giants will both play this weekend. The other seven times this has happened resulted in the opponent team totals cashing out at a 6-1 record. The Packers host the Jets and the Giants host the Ravens.
- We get a treat on a Sunday night game in a 5-0 versus 4-1 matchup of NFC East Division rivals: Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles are 11-1 SU in their last 12 games playing as a favorite. The Cowboys are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 road games. The Cowboys have won and covered 8 straight divisional games. The Eagles won and covered 6 straight pre by week games, 8-1 ATS the past 9 seasons.
- Cooper Rush is one of the final 2 quarterbacks undefeated in the NFL as a starter this year. Speaking of Cooper Rush, did you know Greg Waddell, our friend, went to high school with Cooper Rush? This stat will change one way or another as Rush and Hurts go head to head on Sunday.
