WWE’s first Pay-Per-View event of the new season is taking place in Lyon, France, for the first time. The event has a stacked card with championship matches from top to bottom and features some of the biggest names and faces in professional wrestling. Will Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair claim the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships and put the world on notice? Or will Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga teach Randy Orton and Kevin Owens to stay out of Bloodline business? Additionally, will Wrestlemania 40 newly crowned champions Damien Priest, Bayley, and Cody Rhodes keep the magic alive and recapture their gold? So many questions! Fortunately, I have some answers. Stay tuned for my thoughts on who will emerge victorious in France.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships: The Kabuki Warriors vs Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill make up the most dominant tag team in all of WWE. They have joined forces to take on the Damage Ctrl group, with whom Bianca has had a long-standing feud. The formidable duo of Belair and Jade are determined to win the championship title and move on from their past battles. However, the Kabuki Warriors, consisting of Asuka and Kairi Sane, have proven themselves as a tough team to beat. They are calculated and should be considered. Despite this, it seems fitting to crown Bianca and Jade as the champions and watch them go on a dominant run. They may even turn on each other, but that is a story for another day.

Winner: Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill

Randy Orton & Kevin Owens vs Solo Sikoa & Tama Tonga (Reformed Bloodline)

I am invested in this bloodline story, which is still going strong and getting even more exciting. After Wrestlemania 40, Solo Sikoa took it upon himself to handle some unfinished business as Roman Reigns didn’t handle his part on the grandest stage. Solo’s first move was to eliminate Jimmy Uso from the Bloodline and replace him with Tama Tonga, who’s been causing chaos since he arrived on SmackDown. He brutally attacked Kevin Owens backstage, which caused turmoil for a few weeks. Randy Orton, who has had issues with the Bloodline, came to Owens’ defense, setting up a feud for the upcoming Backlash event. The Bloodline will come out on top in this match. They need to keep building up Solo as a dominant force to make him a believable replacement for Reigns.

Winner: The BloodLine

WWE’s Women’s Championship Triple Threat Bayley v Naomi v Tiffany Stratton

Bayley won the gold at Wrestlemania 40 by defeating her former Damage Ctrl partner, Iyo Sky. However, just like Cody Rhodes, she needs sufficient time in her run to take the championship to new heights. Many fans would like to see Stratton win, as she was called up from NXT a year ago and has been performing exceptionally well. Naomi is also a solid competitor who puts on excellent matches, but it is not her time yet. She could become a superb champion in the future. As for now, Bayley is likely to emerge as the winner.

Winner: Bayley

World Heavyweight Championship: Damian Priest vs Jey Uso

At Wrestlemania, Priest shocked the wrestling industry by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract to win the World Heavyweight Championship. With “Mami” Rhea Ripley injured, Priest has taken on the role of leader for Judgment Day, a group that has recently been involved in various controversies. In this match, Priest faces off against “Main Event” Jey Uso, who is loved by the crowd and is emerging as a top player on Monday Night Raw. While this match is predictable and unpredictable, Priest should retain his championship to establish his legitimacy as a champion. However, Jey Uso could win, cementing himself as a top player and world heavyweight champion. Overall, my gut feeling is that Priest will win.

Winner: Damian Priest

Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes vs. AJ Styles

This match could be considered the least built-up on the card, but that’s alright. We still enjoy watching the two best in-ring performers showcase their skills in the main event. For the first time, Cody Rhodes is defending his WWE Championship against AJ Styles, a phenomenal wrestler he’s never faced one-on-one before. Although I anticipate Rhodes will retain his title, the animosity between these two is just beginning to heat up, and this should be an ongoing feud. I’m rooting for the American Nightmare to retain to kick off his long Championship reign.

Winner: Cody Rhodes
